It appears that I'm the fastest here at using the internet and making posts on this thing, so I've been asked to talk about an artist that I researched last week. Here's Chloe Piene's work "Self Portrait with Dog"
I really enjoy Piene's drawings. They're subtle and delicate, and they communicate a sense of grotesqueness without being actively gory or disgusting. They're also kind of ethereal and otherworldly, and I personally love that kind of thing. She usually uses charcoal on vellum, a medium I personally wouldn't use but it seems to work for her.
I'll stop talking now YEAH!
